
Rex Vehicles needed a website that reflected the quality, precision and specialist nature of their temperature-controlled vehicle conversions.
Their previous online presence did not fully capture the scale of their expertise or the level of detail involved in their conversions. Rex required a website that could communicate trust, technical capability and industry experience in a way that felt clear, professional and easy for customers to navigate. They used a personal designer to re-brand and draw up the initial layout for the new site.
Rex work with a wide range of clients, each with very different vehicle requirements. Some customers know exactly what they need, while others require guidance around the right conversion, specification or temperature-controlled setup for their operation.
This meant the website needed to support both types of customer journey.
The key challenge was creating a structure that made the core services easy to understand, while also giving Rex space to showcase the breadth of industries they serve. This allows visitors to quickly find the most relevant information, whether they are looking for a refrigerated van conversion, a specialist vehicle build, repair support or examples of previous work.
The homepage was designed to immediately position Rex as a specialist provider of temperature-controlled vehicle conversions, with a clear message around engineered solutions for temperature-sensitive transport. Supporting content then explains their consultation-led approach, their manufacturing capability and their commitment to delivering high-specification vehicles on time and on budget.
We also helped create dedicated service sections for vans, bodies, specialist builds and repairs, giving Rex a platform to explain each area clearly without overwhelming the user.
A major part of the project was making sure the website gave potential customers confidence in Rex before they made contact.
To do this, we placed emphasis on the reasons customers choose Rex, including vehicles built to specification, strong communication throughout the build, clear lead times and aftersales care. These points help show that Rex are not simply converting vehicles - they are supporting customers through a full process from consultation to delivery and ongoing maintenance.
One of the most important parts of the build was creating clear pages for the different industries Rex serve.
Rather than forcing every visitor through the same generic service page, the website gives specific sectors their own route into the content.
